Franklin Wilks, Esq.

Principal counsel Franklin Wilks has an extensive history of success in several practice areas. During the firm's germinal years he was recognized for a multi-million dollar civil rights recovery for a victim of police misconduct in the the city of New York. This achievement was followed by a series of recoveries in other civil rights cases. Over the years he has developed a niche practice focusing on joint venture housing development projects on behalf of church partners. In so doing he obtained the mandatory  NY Supreme Court and NY Attorney General approvals for these transactions. In addition he regularly provided a broad spectrum of legal services in the  areas of corporate creation and governance , and resolved real estate disputes through both litigation and  mediation. On several occasions he has served as a guest panelist at  NYS Attorney General symposiums on regulatory compliance for churches pursuing real estate transactions.  Franklin has also served as a board member on the Bergen County, NJ chapter of the NAACP as well as the Deputy Chair of the Township of Teaneck, NJ Affirmative Action committee.

Franklin received a BA in Political Science from Columbia University and a JD degree from Rutgers University Law School.

His court admissions include the NYS Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, the US  2d Circuit District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of NY, the US District Court for NJ, the US Court 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, the US Court  of International Trade and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Michelle Bing

Michelle Bing, in addition to her skills as a paralegal, brings to the firm years of experience in corporate management, non-profit and community organizations, program management, budgets and operations.

Michelle graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Psychology and received a MA from Columbia University in Psychology.
